Great Little Cap
It fits under my helmet, the sweat band keeps the sweat out of my eyes, the visor keeps the sun out of my eyes, and it fits in my back pocket when I take it off. If only the line the elastic band leaves across my forehead went away quicker so I don't walk around looking like a brain transplant patient after every ride!

a must have if your helmet doesn't have a visor
My helmet doesn't have a visor and this hat is exactly what I needed. It conforms tightly to my head so it fits easily underneath my helmet and it wicks away the sweat. The small visor provides a nice amount of shade for my eyes. On days that it's not sunny I wear the Headsweats classic hat instead. For me both these pieces of headgear are essential equipment.

Excellent idea
I am very happy with the Headsweats Spincycle cap. I already have several of Headsweats bands and "skullcaps" (which I think are the best of the sweat bands). The cap is just as good as the others, but allows some sun protection in either front or rear. It also covers my "bikers head" if we stop in a cafe without making me look like a pirate, as with the skullcaps. The bill is designed to wash and wear. Great product.

Perfect for vacation
Not a cyclist, just a recreational rider. Used this on an Island vacation where bicecletas and walking were the mode of transport. It was a perfect hat to wear with black or neutral...my colors of choice for lighter packing. I liked the non-baseball look and the ease of fit with the elastic back. Lightweight for heat comfort.

Yes, it does fit oddly but... (update)
I generally wear a 7 1/4 size fitted hat and this cap does fit pretty snugly. Not at all uncomfortable, but I probably wouldn't want to wear it on a head that was much larger than maybe 7 1/2. But my beef with it so far is that the 3 panel design leaves 2 "humps" flanking the red stripe down the middle. So there are these two weird peaks that follow the seams between panels. I do like the look of the hat in general, and maybe it will eventually form better if I wear a helmet over it or steam it. I might try to get it wet and mold it to my head, but with the peaks, it looks pretty odd. I'll report back about my fitting methods!Edit: Okay, I'm still not *thrilled* that the hat needs some modification to fit well-- however, like others, I found the bumps on either side of the colored band down the middle to be annoying. I couldn't decide if it looked like a butt or part of the accoutrement of some non-existent ecclesiastical office. Anyway, I tried a couple of remedies:...

Great soft cotton hat
I love this hat! I just lost mine tonight and here I am ordering two so I have a backup. I saw a 3-star review so I thought I should speak up.I find this hat super-comfy, and it's thin enough to wear under my helmet. The bill is soft cotton, unlike the rigid bill of Pace Traditional Cap (...). I have a bigger than average head (smart) and I find the Traditional Cap a little restrictive. Since the bill on this hat is soft cotton, it doesn't keep a distinctive bill shape like that of a typical baseball hat-- I don't have a big issue with this.Unlike the previous reviewer I don't find the hat too small. Maybe I look ridiculous? And yes, the hat can fold up and fit in your pocket-- I love that. Why wouldn't you want a hat that would fit in a child's pocket?I was offered drugs in exchange for this hat one night walking down Valencia Street-- I kid you not. The brim is way too small
the hat is nice and light weight and such, the brim of the hat is waaayyy too small though. The hat itself fits very nice, better than cycling hats i've had in the past. The brim on this is just a lot smaller than I had expected and MUCH smaller than the already small brims of most cycling hats.

Tiny little hat
The picture makes this look like a hat with some substance to it. It's not. It's a tiny little hat that could basically fit in a small child's pocket. If your head is even slightly larger than average, this hat will look silly on you.

Comffy Cap ! It Rocks !
The gals at my local coffee shop love this cap on me. It's comfortable cause it's snug. I keep my hair shaved short, but I like to wear caps on windy, cold, drizzily days here in San Francisco. The design on good bike caps like this one makes it wind-proof, and keeps my head dry. It's machine washable and low maintenance. Pleased with product/purchase.

it does fit a little tight on the head but thats what its suppose to be like and it wont come off when your riding that is for sure i would buy another one in a different coloralso my hat size is7 3/8 if that helps

Not the cap depicted
Not the cycling cap shown in photo. I purposily picked the black/grey because it matched my Camelback and my bike. What I received was an ALL black cap with a totally different logo and not an ounce of grey, no "Pearl Izumi" printing on the brim either. I'm really surprised because it was shipped from/by Amazon themselves. They're usually good at shipping what's advertised, or atleast letting you know that the product has changed.Debating keeping it or not...

Great cycling cap but I don't use it
This cap fits fantastic and I wear it around the house and of course when I'm working on my bike. Unfortunately, I don't use it for riding because of the long bill. It's simply too long and obstructs my view of the road. I ride with a cap that has the shorter bill and it's perfect. I highly recommend cycling caps if you've never used one.
